Learning From My Daughter

My daughter's school had an open house and her art was one of the chosen for the exhibition.

Wow! I am thinking... how brave! How brave of her to paint on canvas, something that mom (I) haven't try before.  Her innocence and courage has enlighten me to be brave and explore outside my comfort zone.

When you think about it, what can go wrong? Nothing! absolutely nothing!
If you make a mistake fix it or do it again, is that simple.
It just gives you more practice and experience.

Well, that's all for now...
Thanks for stopping by,

Love,

  1. I understand your dilemma, Clemencia! I found it very hard to put down the first stroke of paint on my first canvas. It is scary, but even if it goes wrong you can just paint over it or cover it with book pages or patterned papers. In fact, it less intimidating to create on canvas if I use collage first, because then you don't start with a blank page and there' no wrong way of doing collage! It's just sticking down random pieces of paper, which you can then paint over!
