Doodle Page... Manifesting From Your True Self

As I was getting ready to meditate with the 21 Day Meditation Experience, I started doodling before the meditation on day 13 which title is Manifesting from your true self and the message for this day says: "to create your life from your inner core means you are manifesting from the same source and intelligence as the universe, your desires are in tune with the creative and evolutionary forces of Nature. This alignment with the universe ensures that your wishes will manifest at the right time and under the right circumstances..."

Isn't that awesome? I love this... so encouraging :)

Anyway, here is what I doodle while listening to it :)

Enjoy :)
and thank you so much for visiting me :)

Fall Fun Digital Layout

I've been thinking for a while that I want to go back to scrapbooking, traditional that is.
But since I haven't organize my supplies I figure I can start by doing a digital scrapbook layout
I made this one last night using my PSPX2 program.

I hope it encourages and inspires somebody out there :)
This layout can be done easily in a traditional way also :)

Thanks for visiting :)

Remember Gratitude Always

Today I played around with my art journal
I started by drawing the leaves and cutting them out,
then put the cut out on the paper
and use gelatos to trace the leaves on my art journal page
keeping the cut out in place, I spread the gelato with a wet brush
cleaning the brush as the color changed
After finishing that step I removed the cut out
and painted the inside of the leaves with acrylic paint and a brush
Once dry, I glued the message that I found in an old mini calendar.

The message says:

When fortune is against us
we don't forget to whine,
but do we remember gratitude
when everything is fine?

I just thought it was so true...

I feel like something is missing...
I would love some feedback on my page,
please leave a comment on what do you think :)

I Deserve...

I've been participating in the 21 Day Meditation Experience.  Today is Day 5 and is the first time that I get to do the whole meditation, is not too long, is just around 15 minutes or so but for me, meditation is not easy, is not easy to sit still and not have my mind wonder around, but today I did a lot better.

Here is a little something that I put together as a reminder of today's thought:

Hope it helps :)

Fall Leaf Journal Page

Lately I've been contemplating how I use my time, even thought for me is really hard to use time on my own things during the day (because I feel guilty), I've come to realized that at night when I feel free to do the things I like because I am done with my part time job and house work; that I am too tired to do anything even to pick up a book and read it.

So today I decided to use an hour of my early afternoon to do the things I like. Today I chose Art Journaling.

I have step by step pictures below with a description under each one of them :)

I started by putting some white labels in my white page and spreading some colors, I used yellow, red, green and a little bit of light purple.

Then I peeled the labels out and put some paint inside the white part to see what kind of effect I get.

Then I used a flat brush to spread those colors in the opposite direction that the background colors.

While all that was drying I decided to cut a leaf from brown paper using a big brown paper bag

and place it on my page like a collage. Then I took my black thin marker making small lines around the leaf to simulate stitches.

This is the final page, feeling the life and beauty of fall.

Leave a love comment :)
