Cochet Sunglass Case

I got my second pair of sunglasses since I always forget mine either in the car or at work.

And immediately got to work, I took some leftover yarn that I had and follow this pattern that I saved in my Pinterest.

The pattern is made for a cell phone but I adapted it to my sunglasses, is almost the same, just less chains at the beginning and longer for the sunglasses.  If you decide to make one and need some help just let me know, I'll be glad to help you as much as I can.

Acabo de comprar mi segundo par de gafas, ya que siempre se me olvidan las mina, ya sea en el coche o en el trabajo.

De inmediato me puse a trabajar, coji un poco de lana que tenía de sobra y segui este patrón que guardé en mi Pinterest.

El patrón está hecho para un teléfono celular, pero lo adapté para mis gafas de sol, es casi lo mismo, solo que hice menos cadenas al principio y más largo para las gafas. Si te decides a hacer una y necesitar ayuda, házmelo saber, estaré encantada de ayudarle lo más que pueda.

Aprendiendo Juntas (translation in spanish of Learning Together)

Hoy sólo quería compartir un poco de lo que he aprendido en los últimos días . Últimamente he estado leyendo acerca de encontrar mi propósito en la vida

además de ser una esposa y madre, ¿qué hay de mí? ¿cuál es mi pasión? que ha sido tan difícil de entender , ya que me gusta hacer todo lo que es artístico y astuto , junto con el scrapbooking , el arte diario y técnica mixta.Veo que hay mucha gente que es hábil pero se dedican a hacer una sola cosa , ya sea crochet o bordado o tejido de punto y que hacen cosas increíbles porque practican que una cosa una y otra vez hasta el punto de que se conviertan realmente bueno en ella. Y ese es mi problema, si eso es realmente un problema? ! si usted sabe lo que quiero decir lol , me gustan tantas cosas que no puedo practicar una sola, voy de ganchillo de una semana, con el arte de diario de la otra , y luego tejer , y así sucesivamente.

 De todas formas ... mi pasión ? ... ¿Cuál es? ...
Pero no sólo eso, yo siempre quería ayudar a la gente , y creo que esa es una de las razones por las que estoy escribiendo esto aquí. Así que espero que esto ayude.
Estoy leyendo un libro llamado puede producir milagros por Gabrielle Bernstein , no leer rápido y no tengo mucho tiempo para leer , así que ... hasta ahora tengo sólo yo algunas cosas en mis notas como ...
Tengo que aprender a elegir pensamientos de amor en lugar de los temerosos , y que me ha pasado hoy , algo simple , algo tonto en realidad , pero me sentí mucho mejor después, y ¿adivinen qué? mi miedo era un miedo a algo tan sin sentido , de verdad , tonto cuando se piensa en ello como un extraño .
Otra cosa que aprendí es que usted puede cambiar un patrón solamente si usted está dispuesto a cambiarlo.
Y ya que estoy en busca de mi pasión , tengo que hacer algunos cambios en mi vida.
Voy a seguir leyendo un poco más y vuelva pronto con algunos consejos más :)

Learning Together

Today I just wanted to share a little of what I learned in the past few days.  Lately I've been reading about finding my purpose in life

besides being a wife and mother, how about me? what's my passion? it has been so hard to figure out since I like to do everything that is artsy and crafty together with scrapbooking, art journaling and mixed media.

 I see there is a lot of people who are crafty but they dedicate themselves to do just one thing, either crochet or embroidery or knitting and they make awesome stuff because they practice that one thing over and over to the point that they become really good at it.  And that's my problem, if that's really a problem?! if you know what I mean lol, I like so many things that I can't practice just one, I go from crocheting one week, to art journaling the other, then knitting, and so on.

  Anyways...my passion?... which one is it?...

But not only that, I always wanted to help people, and I guess that's one of the reasons why I am writing this here.  So I hope this helps.

I am reading a book called May Cause Miracles by Gabrielle Bernstein, I don't read fast and I don't have too much time to read, so... so far I got only I few things in my notes like...

I have to learn how to choose loving thoughts instead of fearful ones, and that happened to me today, something simple, something silly really, but I felt so much better afterwards, and guess what? my fear was a fear of something so meaningless, really, silly when you think about it as an outsider.

Another thing I learned is that you can change a pattern only if you are willing to change it.

And since I am in search of my passion, I have to make some changes in my life.

I'll keep on reading some more and come back soon with some more advice :)

Being Brave! -- Siendo Valiente!

I am opening a new segment here in my blog, trying to be brave like the song says :)

I've been contemplating this idea for quite a long time already.  I love to help people but at the same time I know I need to help myself in different aspects of my life.

I am an extremely shy person and blogging seems the only way to be able to communicate with other people out there, maybe this can help a lot of people like me, who don't say much at all, but your mind is full of thoughts and words that can help other people out there, just like the song says: would make you a lot of good to let them out.

This song has been a huge inspiration for me. Especially knowing that there are a lot of people like me, that can be helped by seeing others taking the first step.

But anyways, I am going to have this section here in English and Spanish since that's my first language and I know there is a lot of people specially woman in South America  with the same problem of holding back your thoughts or biting your tongue because that's what we were taught.

I really don't know what I am trying to get out of this section in my blog, it might be just to let it out! lol but I know that it has been in my mind for quite a long time and have to do it.

I hope along the way I can make some online friends and maybe one day we can meet in person, who know, right? :)

Anyways, thank you so much for being here and reading my blog, I still love to do crafts so I'll be posting pictures of what I've been working on lately :)

Estoy abriendo un nuevo segmento de aquí en mi blog, tratando de ser valiente como dice la canción :)
He estado pensando en esta idea desde hace mucho tiempo ya. Me encanta ayudar a la gente , pero al mismo tiempo sé que necesito ayudarme a mí mismo en diferentes aspectos de mi vida .
Yo soy una persona extremadamente tímida y blogging parece la única manera de comunicarme con otras personas, tal vez esto puede ayudar a mucha gente como yo, que no dicen mucho, pero su mente está llena de pensamientos y palabras que pueden ayudar a otras personas, tal como la canción dice: te haria mucho bien dejarlos salir .
Esta canción ha sido una gran inspiración para mí. Sobre todo sabiendo que hay mucha gente como yo, que pueden ser ayudados viendo a otros de tomar el primer paso.
Pero de todos modos , voy a tener esta sección aquí en Inglés y Español ya que es mi primer lenguage y sé que hay un montón de gente especialmente mujeres en América del Sur con el mismo problema de retener sus pensamientos o morderse la lengua , porque eso es lo que nos enseñaron.
Realmente no sé lo que estoy tratando de sacar de esta sección en mi blog, puede ser que sólo sea para dejar salir mis palabras! ja ja ja, pero sé que ha estado en mi mente durante mucho tiempo y tengo que hacerlo .
Espero que a lo largo de esta manera yo puedo hacer amistades online y tal vez algún día podamos conocernos en persona , quien sabe , ¿verdad? :)
De todas formas, muchas gracias por estar aquí y leer mi blog, todavía me encanta hacer manualidades y todavia voy a publicar fotos de lo que he estado trabajando últimamente :)

Challenge - Go Green

I have to tell you, this is not the first time visiting this blog: Craft Your Passion but for some reason the title just got my attention a few days ago, I guess because I've been trying to pin point my passion to just one thing, but I just can't choose, I'll stay with all my hobbies just like I am right now lol

Anyways, Craft Your Passion is running a challenge and the theme is Go Green, which it sounded pretty inspiring, so I run to my craft area and started working on my art journal to do some mixed media art.

Here is what I made:

It mentions to add something recycled also so I did!
As you can see the tree trunk is made with paper, but what paper? I used the brown paper that comes in the chocolate boxes lol yes I did! it was clean of course :D
And the little owl and the moon are from a children's book somebody was throwing away that was all tore up :)

The rest is a collection of paint, stamps, stencils, markers, and the little words that says Go Green are with tiny wooden stamps :)

What Really Matters...

I just want you to know, that I haven't abandoned my blog again, I am going through hard times right now and seeking the answer and path to my life through God.

I have decided to join the 3030 Challenge with Joyce Meyer, and still listening to Joel Osteen as I always do.

The Challenge started today, I decided to go a little further with the challenge and combine it with Art Journaling and Mixed Media making art on either extra large index cards, my art journal or whatever I think about of that day :)

I worked on this last night, is not finished but is how far I got :)
