Challenge - Go Green

I have to tell you, this is not the first time visiting this blog: Craft Your Passion but for some reason the title just got my attention a few days ago, I guess because I've been trying to pin point my passion to just one thing, but I just can't choose, I'll stay with all my hobbies just like I am right now lol

Anyways, Craft Your Passion is running a challenge and the theme is Go Green, which it sounded pretty inspiring, so I run to my craft area and started working on my art journal to do some mixed media art.

Here is what I made:

It mentions to add something recycled also so I did!
As you can see the tree trunk is made with paper, but what paper? I used the brown paper that comes in the chocolate boxes lol yes I did! it was clean of course :D
And the little owl and the moon are from a children's book somebody was throwing away that was all tore up :)

The rest is a collection of paint, stamps, stencils, markers, and the little words that says Go Green are with tiny wooden stamps :)

What Really Matters...

I just want you to know, that I haven't abandoned my blog again, I am going through hard times right now and seeking the answer and path to my life through God.

I have decided to join the 3030 Challenge with Joyce Meyer, and still listening to Joel Osteen as I always do.

The Challenge started today, I decided to go a little further with the challenge and combine it with Art Journaling and Mixed Media making art on either extra large index cards, my art journal or whatever I think about of that day :)

I worked on this last night, is not finished but is how far I got :)

Being Part of Challenges

This year I have decided to participate in a few challenges

with a few purposes

one is to increase my time doing art

to help me be more social because I am super shy

and the third one is to get closer to my believes.

Be Your Beautiful You

A simple smile makes people beautiful, so think about it...
what makes you smile?
what makes you happy?
what excites you?
Is there anything that is always in your mind that you would like to do?
or you wish you have more time for?
Yes! we all have something that drives us to get up and do more of. Something that get us excited :)

I've been reading a few books and listening to a few videos where in order to find our passion we have to go back to our childhood memories and think what is it that we liked to do a lot, but some of us don't have those memories, so what do you do then?
Just think back on time,
what have you done that have made you really happy,
or that you felt really proud about?

And try to do it again, it doesn't have to be for money, it doesn't have to be a job, just do it because it makes you happy, because you feel good about it. And after a while of doing what you like, all that happiness, all those nice feelings are going to take you somewhere, You are going to feel beautiful inside and out.
