Faith Art Journal Page - Step by Step

"Faith sees a beautiful blossom in a bulb

a lovely garden in a seed

and a giant oak in an acorn"

For this page I painted the background first

I just chose the colors randomly 

and spread them with a brush.

Then I started gluing some tissue paper on the background

to add some texture to it.

But of course I wasn't satisfied with it

so I grabbed an old magazine and tear it

giving it the shape of petals for a flower

and glue it on the background.

While that was drying I took some brown paint

and made the stem and some strokes on the side.

And some green paint for the leaves.

Glued the quote on the empty space. 

And once all of it was dry,

I proceeded with a white gel pen

and made some outlines all around the flower

and the edges of the art journal page.

That's it!
