#WOYWW 399 Prepping #artjournal pages

Has been such a long time since I showed up here in WOYWW ...

I've been trying to make time to do a little art here and there 5 minutes at the time during the week
So far I managed to prep some art journal pages with gesso, let's see what I come up with
I think I am going to participate on some challenges and take some art classes online, maybe I'll start with some free ones lol
Can you recommend any that you know of?

Take care and make art to keep your sanity :)

  1. Hi Clemencia, great idea to get some pages prepped, so you have that bit done when inspiration strikes. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 XxX

  2. That desk is fabulous! Doesn't it make you want to sit down and just do something, even for a few minutes here and there? I'm sorry that I don't know of any online courses, free or otherwise. Happy WOYWW! Anne #7

  3. Oh my word, Clemencia. I think I counted at least 10 journals on your desk! How will you ever keep up with all those? I have enough trouble just remembering to write what is coming up in an ordinary diary!!!
    Take care. God bless.

  4. HI Clemencia nice to see you and your desk, gesso is the very best starting point... free stuff is easily found via a google search most tutors offer a freebie so you can see if it would suit you to join a paid class.

  5. I'm doing a few classes online mostly paid ones but there's loads out there. Carolyn Dube does 'Permission to Play' and Effy Wild does 'Book of Days Bootcamp.' Have you looked on YouTube? Loads of free tutorials on there. Might help you find an artist you connect with first and lead you to their website and courses. Happy WOYWW! Sez x #24

  6. Such a good idea to prep them ahead of time--for me, that might actually make a difference in getting some done! Happy Wednesday. Sandy Leigh #45

  8. Journal 52 is a good free one. I really have fun with it - haven't participated lately. They send out a prompt each week and results are shared.

    Happy WOYWW

  10. Good morning, Clemencia. What a great idea to prep some pages. Maybe I'll work on that this week. Challenges? I'm a fan of Tim Holtz tag challenges and I've been seeing something new.. Rolodex card art. Something small to begin with. I'll try to have info on my blog for next Wednesday. Creative Blessings! Kelly #42

  12. Always good to be prepared when the journaling bug hits you! I love Marji Kemper classes, and she has a journaling one too. This is the link to her tutorials, but check out the rest of her site as well! https://marjiekemper.com/tutorials/ Also, you may like Donna Downey's journal classes as well. Have fun!
